Public Involvement
Public involvement is an important part of the FUDS Program. The Corps will host public meetings, maintain a website, and conduct mailings in order to keep the public informed about the project.
These activities are designed to inform stakeholder's and other related parties of the basic project objectives and provide the Corps of Engineers an opportunity to develop an understanding of community goals for the project. This site will advertise meetings and events as they are scheduled.
On February 26th, 2004, the Corps hosted a public meeting at the Van Buren County Civic Center in Spencer, TN. Meeting marterials are available below.
